I know SPMC is supposed to be Shield optimised but it seems that's all 'under the hood' type stuff that if you don't really need it makes the need for SPMC questionable, for me at least. I've also got used to, and vastly prefer, the Estuary skin of Kodi vs the Confluence skin of SPMC which I find much less user friendly. I really hate that while CEC works in general, you cannot really use it in SPMC/Kodi because the CEC commands stay at a OS level and SPMC/Kodi only see a generic input. This is really an issue because you can't use your TV remote for bringing up the options menu, selecting subtitles, audio etc. Anyone who has previously used CEC with a device running Kodi directly knows what is missing 1 - SPMC (and Kodi 16) crashes after switching to bluetooth speaker when music is already going. Sometimes it will work, but most times it crashes after 20-30 seconds. If i hook up the speaker before starting music, no crashes 2: I dont know if this is your area, but the PVR addons (i use mythtv) dont seem to update SPMC when recordings start
